Default ask the a4 forum for this advise..

you have many options including removing the resonators and adding a straight pipe or removing the muffler and weldign on a magnaflow or someethign similar.

Default Re: magnaflow

I put the magnaflows on my car when my muffler started rattling. I have the 3.0 with duals on the back so we cut the stock mufflers off and installed magnaflows and new tips. I like the sound, much throatier, not too loud.

Default Would an S4 Cab muffler be an upgrade for you? . . .

I'm thinking going with a milltek exhaust; let me know if you can use an S4 Cab exhaust and where you live if you have any interest. Thanks.

Default Do the Milltek--you won't regret it

I am not sure the stock S4 exhaust is larger diameter or freer flowing than a stock A4 exhaust. If you look at both from the rear, they look identical.
