Default Need new A/S tires

I have bubbles in 2 of my Pirelli tires size, 245/40 R18 97H, and I just don't like the way they track the road, always feel like I have to fight to keep the car in the lane. Figure now is a good time to replace before I get a blowout. What should I replace them with?

Really happy with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ from Costco. No change in MPG, solid handling.

Driving conditions/style? Without further info, in general:

All-seaon? I'd agree with the A/S 3+

Summer? I've found the Pilot Sport 4S to be great, though on other cars.

But be aware that tramlining is often a result of either alignment issues or low profile/stiff sidewall tires. No guarantee that ether Michelin would help in that area. The PS4S would probably make it worse.

Thanks for the reply. Are they quieter than the Pirellis?

. Should have stated, I'm looking for All Season tires. While I want handling, I also looking for quiet and comfort. Are the
Michelin pilot sports quiet?

To me, they're about the same in terms of noise. I always get an alignment after replacing tires.

There are several threads on A4 tire replacement. For all-season tires, most folks liked the Michelin or Continental Extreme Contact DWS.

OP, I would look into the Vreedestein Quatrac Pro if you willing to order online. The tire is in Grand-touring category and Tire Rack test as well as user rating gave it high remarks.

Also have the Michelins... a little pricey, but excellent tire all around. I've researched it all for years.

Just a reminder for all that Tire Rack consumer surveys like this one compare the pros and cons of each tire in several categories, so you can choose which parameter is most important to you.
