intermittent slight rattle from MMI screen (2020)
Car has been vault like since I picked it up new but a few days ago when the ambient temps were a little cooler, the MMI screen rattled/creaked over uneven pavement. Putting my hand on it stops the creaking. Now that the temps went up a bit, it stopped. Has anyone had this and how did you resolve it? Thx

Same thing happens in my 2017. I start to hear a bunch of rattles if the car is hot all day and cools down at night. I'm planning on ripping the car apart eventually and putting foam, felt tape and sound deadening all over to fix it.

Sorry to hear that, mine only has issues with MMI screen
I am waiting to hear if anyone else has had that. I am sure I saw a post about it a while ago but the search is not finding it now.

I have an update. I can now reproduce it at will. If I tap the top of the dash with my fist, the screen itself rattles. If I hold the screen with my other hand while I do the the tapping, it does not rattle. Has anyone seen this?

I disassembled the whole dash and put felt tape between all of the plastic pieces. Fixed the all of the buzzing and rattling from that area. The car has a bunch of loose plastic pieces that are press fit into each other so its easy for it to rattle and vibrate.

Damn.. that's a loot to take off
Did you had the annoying resonance in the screen's upper frame at specific RPM?

Same issue, dealer update
I have the same issue with my 2019 A4. It rattles like there are bb’s in there when car is fluctuating in temp on uneven roads. Was not doing this when I bought the car. I took to the dealer with a video of the noise. They said that the screen is operating per manufacturer design and no repair is needed. So Audi is claiming that this is normal. I’ve never had this happen on my other cars so seems odd for a luxury vehicle to write this off as “normal”. So looks like a dyi solution is the way to go or just live with it.
