Audi A4 recall
Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (Volkswagen) is recalling certain model year 2017 Audi A7, A4, A6, Volkswagen Golf and Tiguan vehicles and 2016 Volkswagen e-Golf vehicles for driver frontal air bags, passenger frontal air bags or head air bags that may not deploy properly. Additionally, certain 2017 Audi Q7, A4 Sedan, A4 Allroad, and 2018 Audi Q5 vehicles are being recalled because the seat belt pretensioners may not activate properly.
There was another recall for Audi A4 but for MY 2013-2016.

You can use this VIN lookup to see if your vehicle is associated with the recall:
https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls#vin
This seems to be with US vehicle at the moment would not be surprise if this is extended to Canada next.

My car is one of the ones sitting in port. Checked my VIN and it doesn't show up but I suppose if they never officially sold it to me they don't need to include it in the list of recalled vehicles

I see this is a different recall, but I just saw a news story on this, and '17 A4s were not included. I remember seeing Q5 and A5 Coupe and Cabriolet. Here are the specifics. Again, no A4...

If you read my original post and follow the link to the NHTSA.GOV site, you will see that the 2017 A4 is included. NHTSA.GOV safety ID 16V955.
What is not yet specified is whether all 2017 or only some A4 2017 are included.
I am still looking for the info for Canada, it might need just a matter of time, but I hope not.

Well it seems that the info is a little different depending what you read, the following article states that;
"...Another 5,901 Audi A4, A6, Q7 and Q5 2017 and 2018 models risk faulty airbag deployment and seat belt problems...".

Glad I traded in my 2013 A5. It sat outside exposed to the elements 24/7. With the torrential Florida rains the airbag canisters were no doubt exposed to their fair share of moisture.
