Am I getting all the oil out?

You'd need to watch your oil level display once a week and see how it moves over time to see if you're consuming and at what kind of rate. 10k miles is ~30 weeks for me. So that should be a sufficient sample rate for a smooth interpretation. But if you do some kind of long haul trip, make note a few days before and a few days after. That's when I seem to really do any consumption, if I have any between OCI. You shouldn't be going from 5.5qt to 4.0qt without the yellow oil level warning popping up. Don't know at what oil level you get the red "turn if off" warning on the Gen3.
Starting at 5.5 and only getting 5.0 out, that's normal. Only getting 4.5 out, that's still good on 10k intervals, but you should have seen that oil level down at some point and tossed in around 5-6k the other half of that 1qt you didn't use at the oil change. Only getting 4.0 out, you probably want to be looking into why. Especially if the car wasn't giving you an oil level heads up. And if that level of consumption is "new". But at this point, all you can really do is finish the change and start noting the level weekly to get some idea of your engine's oil usage tendency.

I would pull the drain plug out just to make sure you did extract all of the oil. How many mile are on the car? If you've been changing the oil at 10k miles from new I would expect it to be using a quart of oil every 10k. I personally wouldn't say that's okay but I also don't believe in 10k oil change intervals.

The first one had 40k and the current one has 30k. Not high mileage but all of my previous Audi’s, some of which I purchased new, used some oil so these last two have been a pleasant surprise.
