2019 A4 blown engine at 2300 miles
Car began hesitating and losing power while on the highway with loud metal clanking coming from under the front end. No dash lights popped up, temp was normal. I was luckily able to get off the highway and flatbed to the dealer. All I have been told is that there is no compression in one cylinder and they will be replacing the engine. I'm being told the dealership can't tell me the cause of the engine failure. So, my 2 month old car is now being rebuilt. I opened a case with AoA. Thoughts? Suggestions? Thanks.

Thanks. Yes, a replacement would certainly be ideal. If I have to stick with the current car/replaced motor, who knows what the reliability will be. My dealer seems to think I have a decent shot at a new car. Hopefully brand loyalty and being on my 9th and 10th Audi will help, but who knows. I have absolutely no experience with a situation like this (which I guess is a good thing), so I'm not quite sure what my options are or what is reasonable to ask for.
