Where's my bluetooth streaming, Audi?
In this Q&A with Audi USA's Filip Brabec, he promises that the 3G MMI system will, in fact, be updated to support bluetooth streaming (aka A2DP):
This article was published September 2008. Near future, indeed.
Hello, Mr. Brabec? Do you plan on following through on your promises?
Fourtitude: So if you have an A2DP phone…
Brabec: With the patch that can be downloaded on the Website, the 2G MMI will work. You also have to buy a special “dongle”. On the 3G system, the Bluetooth will be capable of doing this without additional hardware, and the functionality will come in near future.

This has been one of the iggest letdowns, probably the only one with the Audis I've owened, including my current '11 A4. It wold be real nice if dealers corrected this for little to no out of pocket cost. One can wish, right?
