Which Transmission Do I have?
Hey guys, could anyone tell me how I can confirm which transmission I have? Can I input my VIN somewhere and it will tell me for sure?

Yes, you can typically determine the type of transmission your vehicle has by using your vehicle identification number (VIN). Here's how you can do it:
Contact the dealership and provide them with your VIN, and they should be able to look up your vehicle's specifications, including the type of transmission it has.
There are several online VIN decoding services available that can provide detailed information about your vehicle based on its VIN. You can input your VIN into one of these services, and it should provide you with information about your vehicle's specifications, including the type of transmission.
If you have access to your vehicle's owner's manual, it may also contain information about the type of transmission your vehicle is equipped with. Look for the specifications section or the section related to the drivetrain for this information.
In some cases, your vehicle registration documents may also contain information about the type of transmission your vehicle has. Check the documents for any specifications related to the drivetrain or transmission.
By using one of these methods, you should be able to confirm the type of transmission your vehicle has based on its VIN. This information can be helpful for maintenance, repairs, or when purchasing replacement parts for your vehicle.

Thanks for the reply, could you tell me what site I can enter my VIN and get the exact transmission that is in my car? It's not in my manual. I need service instructions.
