Allow me to help-
Option 1:
Showcase the shifter, explain limited time pricing, convince, make purchase, enjoy.
Option 2:
Show her shifters in general. Realize the average price range is $275. Attempt to convince. Later, showcase THIS shifter, for less than half the price. Will seem like greatest deal ever, purchase, enjoy.
Option 3:
Tell her you have to get a shifter for the car. Tell her its $275. Order Strat shifter for $125. Use remaining $150 budget to take wife out to dinner unannounced.
