Default Seat covers

Anyone know of a good seat cover made the for the B8 A4 seats? the black leather is unbearable in the summers heat and sun. I end up sweating really badly each time i sit in the car. Thanks.

You may be interested in this Japanese seat cover that plugs into your 12V socket and cools your back while driving:

I actually use the $10 seat covers from Big Lots. They sell decent looking black stretchy fabric ones. They don't get very hot in the summer.

I get the cheap ones, because I have a somewhat dirty job and my seat covers get dirty.. so Every 6 months or so I toss my floormats and seatcover and buy new ones.

$220 is a bit pricey for seat covers haha. Thanks for sharing though, it seems like a great product, but too expensive for me. Ill have to check out the ones from Big Lots. Thanks for the replies.

I'm with you. I'd love some seat vests, as they are sometimes called. I don't want the entire seat covered, just the part that I sit on. Something like this would be perfect.

I may be forced to buy these and find some Audi patches to cover up the BMW letters.

Where can i find those? And how much do they run? That looks like a great option too.

I'd be pretty leery about using full seat covers if we have airbag components in the side bolsters. In an airbag-deployment there's no telling where the seat-based airbag would be affected... you might end up in a pretty awful position etc...

Just my $.02

Does anyone have experience with the Audi rear seat cover? How much is it and how well does it work? Are there alternatives I should consider? I'm mainly interested in protecting the rear seats from occasional rides given to a small dog and various cargo items.

I just bought it a few weeks ago. I think it was around $80 keep in mind its not a tight form fitting cover. it's loose as it's made for both the sedan and avant. Maybe the Q5 as well don't know. the cover extends into the floor. It has a snap buckle and strap that goes around each headrest to hold it up. and a slot with velcro you open to buckle the seatbelt. If my wife sits in back with our dog its works good. when kids jump in it does get moved around a bit where they need help to buckle their seatbelts.

Overall I'm glad I got it since I got rid of my SUV that I used whenever we took the dog with us. It's good for the money. I don't think there is any other alternative out there. I wish it fit tighter.
I had nice cloth covers on my SUV. Helped in the summer and after 15 years the leather seats looked great.
