Red B8 spotted in Manhattan Beach yesterday.
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/5602/b8_a4_2.jpg"></center><p>I pulled up next to this beauty yesterday and had a moment to take a quick cell phone picture. Sorry for the lousy quality, but you can see the Michigan Manufacturer plates on the rear. Good looking car in red. I pulled ahead after the light and gave him a thumbs up to which he responded with a honk. 
I saw the LEDs in my rear view mirror but couldn't get a picture while driving. (I still wish they would have saved the LEDs for use only on S and RS cars...I'm biased of course!).

Looks like Eurospec, or preproduction. Black nav antennae. Good find.

No, that would be Manhattan beach, this is Manhattan Beach, CA! ;)
There is a holding lot near a light rail station in Lawndale (at the Pacific VW store next to MB) that (according to my "source" at an Audi dealer) serves as the parking lot for AofA press other VIP cars. I've always seen lots of S, RS and even multiple R8s sitting in that lot either waiting to be prepped, delivered or..whatever. Many have Manufacturer plates. I'm told that Jay Leno's new R8 was there waiting for him recently...and still sits at a nearby dealer awaiting its owner.

The Secret Is out!!! Yeah That Lot Belongs to Pacific Audi A.K.A, S.A.G Group!!! The Dalership is actually on Hawthorne Blvd.
Yes you will see a lot of AoA cars parked there because of the use of the lot by AoA Pacific Audi always has perks of getting better allocations for more desirable and hard to find packaged cars. Trust me I know!

Where do you think I got my S6? :)
And my C5 4.2 before that. When I was there yesterday there were 3 R8s there waiting for delivery (one was Leno's).
I like to stop by that Lawndale lot early on Sundays when it is deserted and just stroll around to see all that Audi and Porsche metal just sitting there....wanting to be driven!
