Default Read My Dipstick

I bought a dipstick for my B8 A4 and just had an oil change performed so I wanted to use the dipstick and compare it to the electronic reading. The reading says full as it should but the dipstick level is covering the word "max". I would have thought it would have been just below max in the flat area. I bought the stick from ECS Tuning. If you own one of these sticks where does yours read when full?

That's exactly what it should read. This dipstick is not for the 2.0TFSI engine. The min level corresponds to the min level of the MMI meter, but its max level is lower than what this engine needs.
There is no other dipstick that fits this engine.
ECS should not say that it's a B8 dipstick, but if they don't, they won't get the casual customers that have not read the boards to know that this part number is a usable dipstick for this engine.

It's not going to be a problem I will mark the max level on the dipstick. It will be nice to check my oil in the am without having to warm up the oil first so the display will register. Thanks for the help.

From what I've read and my experience, the 'A' in the Max is where it should read for full.

You were right on the money.About 3 miles away from my Home I decided to read the oil level from the MMI.I had been monotoring it for some time now.-It was reading low.REAL low.So when I got Home I took a quart, poured it in,the reading was exactly at the A of max on the dipstick. Thanks a lot for your input.
