repost... we've known for quite a few mths what it's gonna look like.

Some staggered or incongruent lines up front that play quick tricks on the eyes. I don't think Audi moved upward with the refresh, although the half-lit LED taillights look nicer than the in your face owl eyes on today's car. One plus... really dig the contrasting light wood against the black dash. Livens things up well.

A bit confused...I read on this forum that
the A4 Avant was going to be discontinued-not sold-in the U.S. after 2012 to be replaced by the Allroad.

Is the Avant shown in the photos just for the Euro market or is it in fact an Allroad
which will be sold in the U.S.?

The images show both the Avant and the Allroad, both in euro spec (based on license plate and exhaust).

We will only get the Allroad. The Allroad in the pics appears to have lower ride height that what we will see over here.

Too bad that we don't seem to like the Avant in the US. And now that I can finally afford an S4 Avant... I shall be denied.

But maybe in a year or so, Audi will grace the A4 line with a Diesel or two.
