Default New Audi A4

Hi all-I posted in the New Member Forum but wanted to post here also. I just put a deposit down on a 2015 CPO A4 with 5K on it. While I heard a lot of good things about Audi, there were some concerns like they burn a lot of oil and can have high maintenance bills down the road.

Anyone have any feedback?

Not a problem with the 2015 and not all older ones.

I have a 2009 and no problems...

I have a 2010. I had bad oil burning problems but up to 80,000 miles audi will cover it.

Component quality has gone way up in ten years. 2009 rings aside. My 2002 had issues, less than a 1998, far more than my 2010. Only real failure on the 2010 in 80k was my sunroof motor under warranty and a battery they replaced for free after warranty. The 2002 had maybe ten items that failed in 4 years.

Use VW spec oil for sure. It has more zinc and phosphorus to reduce wear inside engine (rings included). Its cheap at Wally world and the dealers I know now use it.
