Started looking for a new lease. Not sure if MMI is something I really want. The only thing I like is the higher res screen, the color driver info display, and the controls down on the console. I only use NAV on my phone once a year, and I can park my A4 just fine without sensors and cameras. It boggles my mind it's an extra $3000.

Anyhow, salesguy found me a brilliant red A4 P+ quattro with B&O, but no MMI. I'm very stoked on the car - it's all the options I didn't get in my 2011 P.

I think so absolutely. I love the MMI in my 2011, just makes the car feel a lot more substantial on the interior, the non MMI looks stripped down in my opinion. I love having the controls in the center and the color DIS definitely feels a lot more upscale than the pixilated red version. Backup camera/sensors are awesome once you have them, I'll never go back to a car that doesn't have at least a camera minimum.

You're right. The MMI changes the whole feeling of the cabin - plus I'll get A2DP which has been a pet peeve. Pulled the trigger! Though I had to go with my backup color choice.

Nice to see they've ditched the Pirelli tires for Conti ProContacts. I had about 6000 miles on my DWS and they we're great on my 2011. Hope the ProContacts are at least similar.
