Default MMI Oil Level Min Max difference

I looked all over but couldn't find the answer to this one. The manual doesn't specify.

Does anyone know for sure the actual difference in oil level between Min and Max on the MMI level guage? Is it a quart? A gallon? A cup? If one had the need to add some, hard to guess the amount relying only on the gauge.

Also, has anyone come up with a part number for a 3.2 engine dipstick?

My level went from 40-90% with 500ml of oil. So I'm guessing from min to max is about ~1.2l. It's probly in the manual somewhere, but I'm too lazy to look for it.

The difference is about 1 quart, likely 1 liter to be exact. I added roughly a half quart since the car complained the oil was low and now the gauge is dead center. Part number for the 3.2L engine dip stick is 06E 115 611 H.

Any one have a part number for the 2.0T dip stick??? Is there one?
Seen several contenders with mostly negative reports on the resulting fitment...

No, the dipstick fot 2.0T is not available. However, there is a (expensive) tool available for measuring.

*) Even though the oil dipstick part-numbers for the gasoline turbo engines are at the moment unknown (and may not even exist), Audi does have a tool part number VTO-T40-178 that is a generic oil dipstick, adjustable for various engine types. Apparently the top of the stick has a range of 0-200, for 2.0 TFSI this should reportedly be set to 39. The lower end of the dipstick has another range of 0-30. For 2.0 TFSI reportedly, on the lower end scale, position 0 is the low and position 24 is the high limit of the acceptable oil range for the engine. This tool is not designed to be left in place (instead use the oil dipstick tube cap that is in the car when not measuring oil), the tool should be dipped into the tube only when necessary and stored somewhere else at other times.

Does it show the correct oil level and correctly fit in the dipstick tube? Technically the transverse CCTA 2.0TSI (GTI, CC, Tiguan, Audi A3) has a different dipstick tube then the longitudinal CAEB 2.0TSI found in the A4/A5. They aren't 100% identical engines.

I'll be at the dealer tomm., if the price is right and they have it in stock, I might just pick one up. the 2009-10 Audi A3 uses that dipstick, so Audi dealers now carry it.
