Default Looking for opinions on wife's new car

So I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for me when looking for my wife's new car. Her criteria:

1) cute (her #1 priority apparently)
2) 4-door
3) <30k
4) small

That's all she gave me.

I was thinking Jetta TDI or GLI, maybe a Mazda 6 or basic CC. We're going looking Friday so I thought I'd see if anyone had any thoughts.

I don't think the 1-series is available in 4-door, is it?

I would consider the new (Mk6) GTI or GLI.

2nd on the Mazda3... The styling is not for me though... that silly joker grin/front fascia is a bit much.

Plus 1. Mazda's new corporate smiling face is a laughing joke.
