Hi all,

I have B8 A4 and Concert III radio with standard AUX IN built in (middle console).

When we were recoding radio for some phone/BT options in VCDS we recoded the input from AUX IN to AMI. So now when I select Source on radio I get option for AMI which is not present.

I would need some help how to recode that back to standard AUX IN.

I have VCDS and cable. (when I go to long coding helper the last byte has the option AUX IN selected - value 05 but no change..)

Any ideas?

Can't help you with the coding, but VCDS logs the coding changes in the Debug sub folder (under VCDS program folder), so you can start all over.

Thanks but it was coded on another computer from a friend and I have no access to it anymore. I have now my own copy so there is no log of changes unfortunately.

Hi, I need to do the same thing in my car. I have the original ami but I need to disable it and activate the aux port instead. I'm no expert with vcds. I found a guy with a cable but I need to tell him what to do. The car is a 2011 A4 S-Line, no nav, Concert radio, with ami. Any help would be more than welcome.
