I have a question.
From the screen shots, the 2013 A4 looks like it has a different LCD user interface.

Will this be available via a firmware update that is applied by the dealer?

I used to have a 2010 Challenger, and was able to update the graphical user interface wth a firmware update. It changed the look and feel of the radio/mp3 management.

Just curious, I am new to Audi with a A4 quattro.

I don't think so. The newer MMI uses the latest NVIDIA Tegra chipset, so it's a hardware & software change they made.

Here's an article from last year's CES that talks about it. I can't find the newer one right now that talks about the newer MMI Touch/Google Maps.

I donīt think this is possible. There is now 4 less control buttons on the center console so I guess the whole system has been reworked.

I noticed that as well. How I wish they put in the touchpad from the next gen navs in the A6 and above...Saving it for the B9 I guess.
