Well, it's not too big, but it does have a nice **** at the end.

I'm talkin' about the scissors jack that came with my '09 A4. I took it out to use it today for the first time 'cause I wanted to rotate my tires. The jack is small and not too robust, but it is so much better than the jack that came with my previous B6. That jack was positively suicidal.

The B8 jack has a **** at the end of it so you can get it started without having to use the crank. Also, it stands up by itself, unlike the one-legged B6 jack.

Btw, I also used a hydraulic jack so I could lift the front and rear wheels at the same time.

Yeah, I used my jack yesterday too. Removed a deflated tire and badly damage rim having been run into the kerb by a truck. He didn't hit me but it wasn't for lack of trying.....

A good long flex bar for added leverage assuming you couldn't free the lug nut(s) .

If the tire won't come off of the wheel hub after removing the lug bolts, you aren't alone. The cause is galvanic corrosion. To get the tire off of the car, SLOWLY lower the car back onto the tire. Once some of the weight of the car is back on the ground, the tire should pop right off. To prevent it from happening in the future, smear some copper anti-seize paste on the face of the wheel hub (keep it out of the bolt holes).

Agreed, especially if you've had the car dealer serviced. They always seems to WAY over torque lug nuts. One more bit, never seize on the threads of your lug bolts will help tremendously the next time to have to take a tire off.
