I picked up my new A4 last week but I wasn't totally sold on the car. I was coming from a Volvo S60 which I loved except for a cramped back seat and a terrible turning radious. The S60 had some *****, extremly comfortable seats, cool rims, great radio, etc.

The Audi is growing on me and I like it better each day. On the Volvo you could hear the engine when it kicked down to a lower gear and feel the grunt from the engine's torque. The Audi is probably quiker although it is a sleeper. The engine is so refined that it's extremly quiet. At first I missed hearing the engine but now appreciated the flat torque response and quiet engine. I told my wife that the car with the CVT, which has no shift points, is like a golf cart. When accelerating the car is like a rocket. I'm also impressed on how low the engine tunrs. At 70 my tach is at 1700rpm's. I'm also appreciating the excellent fit and finish the car has. All the buttons feel solid and the car is very intuitive. The car is a wonderful blend of economy, performance and luxury.
