Driving in S mode?

Driving in S mode?

I am new to Audis and have never used a car with "S" mode.

Are there any issues with driving in "S" mode too much? Is the only issue decreased fuel economy or are there other issues?

On a similar note, I was watching on YouTube the Top Gear comparo of Ferrari 360 and some Porsche and they showed a button in the Ferrari on which was written "RACE". The comment was something like "You push this button and the computer puts the car into a psychotic mode"
