B8 Service manual and dipstick
Just picked up a B8 P+ 6MT and would like two things: a service manual, and a dipstick. Is the bentley DVD generally accepted as the best manual? It doesn't look like it's written by Audi - more like a step up from Haynes? I'm not likely to do anything more advanced than brakes, plugs, serpentine belt, that sort of thing - but I'd prefer to pick up the manufacturer's service manual if it's reasonably priced.
Also - I don't know that I trust the electronic oil level sensor. I've seen this article, but I can't find that part anywhere, and the article isn't particularly clear on whether or not that dipstick "tool" is even designed for use in B8s. Has anyone added a dipstick to their B8?
Thanks for the help!!

I ordered a dipstick for around $25 from the parts department the day I got my car from Audi. It arrived in the mail a few days later. I went out to the garage, removed the red top from the dipstick tube at the front of the engine, and inserted the dipstick. Its readings have always matched those from the MMI, but I bought it for peace of mind, and I'm happy I have it.
