Default B8 A4 Quattro Oil Pressure

So... My Car is saying oil pressure low shut off engine, it only does this if the car isn't at full operating temperature once it hits that it stops but until it finally reached temp, it beeps anytime the car is slowing down under 40mph. What could it be? Some say oil pressure sensor and some say other things. Has anyone encountered this?

Well they don't have a dipstick. B8 uses the mmi for oil levels. I did make sure the cap was on though

I think what he meant was check the oil level sensor plug to see if its secure,

Anyways can you see your current oil level on the MMi ? If you can and it states FULL then it implies you have a bad oil level sensor if it actually states in the MMi that the Oil level is below low or LOW then top off your oil so that MMi reads FULL remember our cars burn oil

always fill around 4.76Liters or 5 quarts. to be on the safe side

Low oil pressure and low oil level are two very different things.

I had a remarkably similar issue earlier this month and had the same error pop up. In short, it was part of a recall and fixed for free. The PVC diaphragm was at fault.

A little more reading, I found this. I'm taking mine to Audi to have it fixed at no cost.
