Default APR vs Revo

Well, it happened again. Reeves (now Audi of Tampa) called us while our car was in the service department to receive its new Revo Stage 1 software, and informed us they had dropped Revo and switched exclusively to APR. This after our own salesperson swore that Revo was the better product months ago. Now he is backpedaling and trying to tell us we misinterpreted what he said back then ... however, since the upgrade was installed yesterday we will give it a few days. We can always take the car to Sarasota and let the Suncoast Audi motorsport guys have at it. Any input?

I have a local garage that swears by Revo and won't touch APR. The own says Revo is a much more stable tune and much easier to deal with if a problem should arise.

There's some major tune war threads on Audizine going on now. Search there for some interesting info. I can forward the links if you don't find them. Some trash talking, but some good info, too.

I think that every shop is going to swear that the tune they sell is far superior to the other tunes. Do you expect the shop to recommend a tune that they don't sell?
