Any pics of 2010 A4 with splash guard on it?

No drilling involved. You just need to pierce the fibre fender liner. I simply used the screw - - nothing more to it than that.

I can't believe it's got that externally visible screw. Previous models mud flaps have been quite neat. That screw is putting me off totally. :-/
I do get the fact that you're not always on your hands and knees looking up at it but still. They could have done that neater.

Apologies for bringing up this old thread, but I'm trying to install my mud flaps onto my B8 S4. For Step 10 above, I understand you have to poke a hole thru the liner and then screw the screw into the plastic nut. Do you just push the nut into the poked hole? Doesn't seem that secure to me, and there's no way for me to put the nut behind the liner and hold it secure for the screw to go in.
Apologies, this should be easy, but confused by this last step. If anyone can shed any light that would be appreciated!
Cheers, and Happy Holidays!

No, you have to pull the soft fender liner out a bit and reach up with your fingers and attempt to hold it in place while you screw the screw in. It's one of these deals where you need three hands
The nut goes behind the fender liner. All is secure when you are done.
