Default 2012 audi a4 front end "bearing" noise

I recently had a mishap and hit a curb with my car and cracked the right front rim. I have ordered a rim and will be putting it on today.. I put the donut in the back and put the wheel from the back in the front but when I drive I get a bearing noise but it alternates from side to side? would this be because of the donut even though its mounted in the back? I know these AWD systems act funny sometimes because of that or what could cause this noise? its not only on the right front that does it but the left front does too I really need help on this one cant get my head around it

thank in advance

There may be some damage to the front suspension. Get it checked out at the dealer.

Either that or the wheel bearing could be causing these symptoms. I'd have the dealer check it out after you put the new rim on. And don't mention your mishap, let them figure it out otherwise they might not cover by warranty.

If anything is damaged due to a hit, they will likely be able to tell upon inspection and will decline coverage.

Then they must have missed it for me :-)

You might have a bad wheel bearing. An impact sufficient to crack a rim might just be enough to do that. Energy has to get absorbed by something.
