If I push my car up to 70mph in 3rd gear and then shift to 4th there is a slight jerk. Also get a hard jerk when downshifting from 3rd to 2nd on a hill or something.

Thanks to all for the help and advice! I have always been an Audi fan and think the B8 is a great car. I'm just frustrated that I've had three significant issues (trans issue discussed below, cold-start stumbling/stalling, and a radio/MMI will occasionally not work until car warms up. The car has already been to the dealer 6 times and spent approx 2 weeks there with nothing resolved yet. I know they're trying, but this level of inconvenience seems excessive to me.

I just started noticing the same behavior on my 09 avant. When it shifts from 3rd. to 4th. I get quiet a jerk, I've tried it in D and S modes, same thing. I guess I’ll have to see my dealer soon.
