Default Yet another wheel question for winter

I'm in the process of order a winter set of tires for my car, and I was wonder which offset to order of the <a href="http://www.carmodifier.com/default.asp?Action=displayWheel&cID=1039&vendorID= 123&wheelID=971&searchType=summer">16" RS4 replica wheels</a> 35 or 42? which would look better? And will they fit my car?

I'm pairing them with nokian hakka 5's.

08 B7 avant special edition, Deep Sea Blue<ul><li><a href="http://www.carmodifier.com/default.asp?Action=displayWheel&amp;cID=1039&amp;v endorID=123&amp;wheelID=971&amp;searchType=summer" >Audi RS4 16</a></li></ul>

Default Go with the more aggressive offset (ET35 in this case). Note that the design of the inside of the...

spokes sometimes matter more than the actual offset when it comes to brake clearance.

Default True about the design....

These 16 winters fit. picked them up fm dealer Don't know the offset. look @ the caliper clearance....

my old 16's used on my b5/b6 didn't clear the front calipers on my b7 due to the shape of the spokes.

Default Re: Well I'll order the 35's and I'll tell you how it goes

The guy at the store said they have put them on B7's before so I'll cross my fingers. So far thier service has been great.

I'm sure they'll fit. Post up some pics when you get them put on.

Default How easy is it to add and remove the audi splash gaurds then?

I don't think they look very good but if they are easy to take on and off I could use them for some extra protection.

Default never messed w/ the splash gaurds, i was always deterred because looks

i really wouldn't be too worried about it, those wheels don't have lip. a less aggressive offset would be preferable.

Well i've picked up the wheels and they fit perfectly with about 3/4 of an inch to spare. The Nokkian Hakka 5 studded are unbelievable, we just had our first big winter storm and its Icy as heck out and I can't wait to go rip around they feel soo safe and are super fun to rip around on ice with. Now I worry more about people not being able to stop behind me than the people in front of me. I'll post pictures when I get some time.
