Default Would this tire installation bother you?

Curious as to whether or not getting your newly mounted tires back looking like this would bother you or not? The new tires were put on at my Audi dealer. All four tires had the same sloppy work of which I have posted the worst looking one.

I know it's Halloween today, but they didn't have to look this scarry .

Unacceptable to me. I would not leave the dealership until the wheels/tires are cleaned. I can understand them using a lubricant to do the tire installation but the remainder should be cleaned off prior to remounting the tires. It would be no problem for me to either get the service manager or dealership manager and show them the issue.

That's just plain sloppy. Kind of makes you wonder how they approach other jobs doesn't it?

Sure does . And not only that, when they took off my summers they didn't mark which wheels they took them from .

yes, it would bother me too, but not as much as those rusty calipers! try cleaning them, then spraying them with silver caliper paint... they will look brand new, and keep that look for years!

Gee s4master1, I have seen many, many helpful and informative contributions you have made to this forum and am a bit surprised you took the time and trouble to comment on, of all things, my rusty calipers .

I look forward to more of your better posts in the future .

Yes that would CERTAINLY bother me. I wouldn't have taken the car until it was cleaned.

That's just a lack of caring
