I was down to 5 miles on the Trip computer and just got to a gas station...

How acurate is that thing with gauging miles left?

You have a little bit after it reaches 0 (watch out for the uphills) ive run out of gas from that

so you realistically have 40 miles left when it says 0, but no need to push it to the reserve.

You sure? The manual says you hit reserve when the yellow light comes on...

or maybe they tell you it's when the light comes on so you don't run out of gas. I can't say with certainty but iirc the yellow light comes on at what like 25 miles left ?

If that's true you still have a while to go once it hits 0.

2nd that, I've gone least 30 miles after the trip comp said 0 miles.

I had 50km left on the tank and the low gas warning went up. Filled up and it took in about 53L of gas (tank size is 62L or 16.6 gal).
