Do you want to drive the car or just use it for transportation?

I've been happy with Tip. But wouldn't mind stick.

I would recomment the Tip, since it would give you the best of both. If you drive in traffic, a stick will (eventually) drive you crazy! I learned to drive on a stick and used to prefer a manual transmission - I liked the "control" that a stick offered over the vehicle. While not exactly a stick, the Tip offers the same type of control that a stick would offer. Plus, the Tip allows you to drink coffee while you're driving! The stick may be a lot of fun but, to me, the Tip is better in the long-run.

Default 6 Speed

Went from tip (allroad 2.7T) to 6 speed MT (B7 2.0T) - no comparison - 6 speed is much better.

Default i like saying "do you want to drive a car, or steer it?"

when i first got a standard transmission (yes i refer to it as standard, not stick) a month later i got stuck in the worst traffic of my entire life. i was leaving the dover, deleware nascar race. there is 1 road out of deleware, and 100,000 cars were all on it at the same time. it took 3 hours to go 35 miles. then more traffic in new jersey. i survived even driving a manual, and since then, even bad traffic hardly bothers me. besides, it just becomes second nature. like when i get in an auto car, i still press my left foot down on the imaginary clutch to start it, and coming to a stop light i have to actually think about what to do (just hit the brakes) since driving a manual is just so ingrained.
