is tinting OK for the radio antenna on the glass?

and the defrosters? I'm referring to the Avants.

yes ... metallic tint can effect am reception...

i don't use am...

my fm is fine (don't listen to the radio anyway though)

and my defrosters are fully functional

yup, i had titanium tint on my B6... ZERO am reception

OK...so what tint to preserve AM reception?

I want to preserve all my lovely am/fm reception and bluetooth functionality. Tint suggestions?

regular black tint should be fine

but dye tints fade and turn purple... so that is a definite trade off

a quality job should last you a long time, and if it fades, remove it and tint again
