Sunroof tilts up for no reason
Got a 07 A4. At random times, the sunroof has a habit of just popping up.
I'll be driving, hot or cold out, even right after I get out of the car, it'll pop up.
Anyone hear of this?
I tried searching forums, nothing sounded similar.
I did check the sunroof drain area (per the class action suit mail from earlier this year), thinking some crud might be causing some anti-pinch mechanism to open it. I park my car outside, so it was a real consideration for me.
A few weeks ago I walked outside to go to work and saw my sunroof tilted open, so I was very frustrated. Fortunately it had not rained that night so I didn't have any long-term effects. But next time, I may not be so lucky.

Pinch protection doesn't work on tilt.
You probably need a switch. I've seen it more common on older A6's, But i suppose it could happen considering the switches are the same
