Steering noise

Steering noise
I have an 09 A4 Cabriolet approaching 5,000 miles and it has what sounds like a rubber on rubber, rubbing noise coming from the left front wheel area when you back out of a parking place. The wheel does not need to be fully turned to make the noise, just a partial turn will cause it.
I've been complaining about it since delivery of the car 6 months ago and the dealer says it is normal for a new Audi and will go away after it is broken in and they quote TSB# 2023187/1, saying it is the rubber boots wearing in. I haven't been able to find a TSB with that number anywhere and my mechanic friends think I'm crazy for accepting this excuse.
At 5,000 this excuse is wearing thin, as I have to explain to everyone who rides in the car that "the dealer says it is normal." Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, when does it finally go away? Or, does anyone know what is wrong with it?
Thanks,

It is my understanding that since the 09 cabriolet was unchanged from the 08, it was still a B7 platform, even though it is an 09.

mine squeal too but i think its just the tires, they dont look like they are getting bald but they squeal bad when taking kind of tight turns. Sounds like im doin 100mph around a corner lol i hate it but im not about to spend 500$ on new tires just to get rid of the squealing.
