speed sensitive volume = svc ?
i do not have the bose system (06 2.0t) but if i get into the menu svc is in there is this speed sensitive volume i have it set on 5 and do not notice any volume adjustment when increasing speed any help would be appreciated

Not speed dependent but the amount of road noise in the car
I noticed if I'm on smooth pavement then transition onto pavement that's rough and thus more tire noise, the volume will increase.

That's only with Bose ...
the Bose on the B7 is interior noise sensitive (via a microphone in the interior light).
Without Bose it's plain vanilla GALA = speed sensitive only.

I had to read my manual to figure that out!
Imagine that, actually reading an owners manual. I thought my Bose system had a problem when it would suddenly get louder, but my speed hadn't changed. I cracked open the manual and found out that the Bose system had the noise compensating sound system and not just GALA.
