Sirius Satellite Install
Just installed a receiver I got from Ebay. I have a 2006 with the Bose Symphony no Nav.
Took me 10 minutes...very easy install!!
Four simple connections in the trunk followed by removal of the door sill trim piece and side kick panel. Moved the CAN BUS connector to the left position and all is good.
Dealer wanted over $800 for the receiver and install.

I did the same install....I didn't see any loopback adapter in the trunk the wires were
bundled up in foam.
I think what you are referring to is the plug in the lower kick panel?
And if that is what you are referring to, it should still be there as it's connected to the car's electrical system, you might just have to move the jumper over.
