S-line worth it?

S-line worth it?
I'm looking @ financing an 06' A4, but i'm trying to figure what options are most worthwhile for the car and what options are can be aftermarketed for better value + performance/style.
I've taken test drives in both S-line + regular A4, and I actually like the ride quality better in the 10mm lower springs + 18's. I saw that if you don't get the S-line series you do get the option to of a $250 upgrade of sport suspension? is this the same suspension as the S-line series?
I'm looking to get the car around 33-35k.

depends on your plans
The $250 sport suspension is the same as the s-line suspension. Other than the suspension and wheels, the s-line changes are aestheitc.
If you are planning aftermarket suspension, wheels, and body kit I would skip it for sure.
I won't be changing anything, so it's worth it for me.

Re: depends on your plans
I'm not looking @ adding any body kits really, but I'm having trouble forking out $3000 for very minor aesthetic changes + suspension/rims/tires. If I didn't buy s-line i'd probably end up buying a set of 18's + the sports suspension.

Doesn't sound like it's worth it to you then.
To be honest, I probably would have skipped it if they had another Avant on the lot with sport suspension and a manual transmission. Now that the sticker shock has passed, I'm glad I have it.

look at...
an s-line and a standard a4 together. if you don't think the differences are worth the money, then opt out. personally, i wouldn't get the car without it.
minus the chrome sideview mirrors, slightly more pronounced door blades, and quad exhaust it looks exactly like an s4.

Re: look at...
Maybe I missed some of the aesthetic changes? is there a different body kit on the s-line? I just saw S-line badging on the front/rear/sides...but the body kit looked exactly the same? I think maybe it had a slight spoiler.

i have seen dealers stamp s-line badges on cars that were not s-lines
so be careful with what you're looking at...
In my honest opinon the s-line package is very expensive, but would save you from going aftermarket. It is probably worth the money.

same here...
I actually didnt plan on getting it, but there was an Avant on the lot w/ it, along with most of the options I wanted, so I decided to get the car. I think it looks great and have been getting quite a few compliments.
