Is it possible to adapt front fogs to drl

I thought it might be an idea to use the front spots as daylight running lamps. Has anyone carried out this modification?

I would say "YES" using VCDS. I have a 2011 VW Tiguan and instead of having the expensive Xenons as my DRL's, a friend of mine who has VCDS, made my fogs my DRL's.

FYI, dealers will not generally do this for you, so see if you can find someone with VCDS.
