B7 AVANT

I am a new owner of 2006 A4 Avant. My car is Quartz gray with manual transmission with just a premium package... The dealership told me this is a rare car since it does not have bunch of optional packages... Is this true?
Also is there any rear roof spoiler available for new B& Avants?

My wifes car is an 02 Amulet Avant. Tip, 16" wheels and auto-dimming mirror... that's it. No sunroof, no leather, etc. We special ordered, and I've NEVER seen another one like it.

My car is an 05.5 Black Avant 6MT. I think its pretty uncommon, but I think my wife's car is more unique.

Mine is on the way from a dealer in Montreal. The only difference is mine will have optional headlight washers.

Hope the 6 spd Quartz Avant says rare.

I am trading an Amulet Red 2002 sedan with Sport, Premium and xenons. Dealer says there is onl one other similar to that in town (and he lives up the street from me!) So much for being "rare". Please tell me you don't live in HRM

I ordered a Dolphin Gray Avant with only the sports suspension as an option. Gray Interior. I actually preferred the cloth seats - nicest cloth I have ever seen.

I really think the base car is fantastic. I will be updating to 18" wheels though and adding the Sirrius. As a daily driver in the Colorado snow, can't be beat. I really wanted the heated seats but didn't want to get all the other stuff to get them. My dealer said there might only be 5 cloth avants in the country.

For the same reason that I didn't necessary want all the "stuff" that comes with it. Actually, I would have preferred leatherette (we have it on my wife's 02). Leather is nice, but the additional cost is not worth it for me.

In the end, I got leather because I would have had to order an 06 and wait (which I wasn't in a position to do). Also, the dog spends a lot of time in the car, but cloth woudl have been bad news.

Can you post pics... I've never seen A4 cloth.
