Default Mirror replacement for side view mirror assembly

Hey all,

I recently had the actual mirror stolen off my driver side side-view mirror.

I've found this link for actually reinstalling a new one (http://www.a4mods.com/index.php?page...tml&category=3).

My problem is knowing which one to get. I do not have a car manual (not yet atleast, Old Dog ) so I don't know whether it is heated or auto-dimming or both. I can get a picture up of the wiring a little later. Thank God they left the wiring intact.

I have a B7 2007 A4 Avant 2.0T with Premium Plus and winter package (heated front seats, etc).

Any links to parts would be nice. I found this (http://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-B7_A4-...erior/Mirrors/) but $409 seems crazy for the mirror alone.

Thanks,
Brent

Winter package would give the heated side mirrors. Do you have an auto dimming rear view mirror? Usually if you have that the sides also dim (not sure about that though).

FWIW: I ended up getting an entire driver's side motorized mirror assembly from a junkyard for $200. They would not (understandably) sell only the glass. Edit: The glass is heated and auto-dimming.

This worked out pretty well, since I had some housing parts that were destroyed and needed to be replaced. Since the main housing I got from the junkyard is a different color, I still have the old silver housing installed with a a few cracks, but they're hard to notice.
