Default Low Oil? Help

I just purchased an A4 about 2 months ago and unfortunately it did not come with the owners manual to see what it means.
It looks like the oil icon and says min.
But when I press the button it says service is not due until 5100 or 103 days. I am only assuming that the icon means low oil? Please help! Would highly appreciate it!

The thing is with a used Audi, as I've found out the hard way, is that you can't rely on the onboard computer for the oil level as you probably don't know for a fact that the car has had oil changes at proper intervals. You might have sludge in the oil pan.

Does it still indicate "min" after you've topped it off with oil?

It means low engine oil. Most likely it is a quart low. Just open the engine hood, check oil level and top off.

Hi,

Had a similar issue a few months back. Mine turned out to be a faulty oil level sensor which is located in the sump pan.
