Looking for cheap/light wheels for the A4
16" or 17", light is good, but cheap is better. I've found the following:
16"x7"
5-122
33 offset
16lbs
for $89
17"x7"
5-122
38 offset
18lbs
for $109
17"x8"
5-122
35 offset
18.5lbs
for $99
I don't really care about looks. I'm just needing some wheels for autocrossing :->
Anyone know of some good places to look for wheels similar to these?
Thanks!

You need 5x112 and probably about 8" wide to fit the 235 or wider rubber...
edgeracing has cheap wheels but add 3 lbs to their advertised weight as they lie in their advertising.

oh? Thanks for the heads up, that's where I was looking!
the main reason I'm looking at different width's and 16 & 17 is I'm still doing tire research for autox, and figured I'd get a rim size that is more accomidating.
I know if I were to do track days 18's would auctually be the best, but that's not for this car (or my budget yet).

I figured you were looking there from the specs and prices....
Just wanted to let you know on the weight thing. I have a wheel of theirs at the house. They're fine for autocross. But dont believe the weights. I also use 17" on the track. I think you'll find a 7" wide rim a bit too narrow for wider autocross rubber in a 235 or 255 or whatever you go with. I'd look for a 17x8" in 5x112 at an et38 to et35 for clearance of most wider autocross 235 or so rubber. Remember also that a Hoosier or V710 is ALOT wider in 235 fitment than a street tire that is a 235 fitment. Each tire manufacturer has a spec sheet on thier tire's tread width so you can compare that way. Using a 17" will also allow you alot of used race rubber on the market as the RA1 tires used in the World Challenge are all specced at 235/40/17 which is perfect for lap day or even non competitive autocross events. You can pick them up for $40 a tire or so with just a couple heat cycles on them. They can last a full season at least. Good luck with it.
