Installed the Dietz 1417 & 1280, and DVD player
Got it in over a week ago but finally got around to taking some pics. Everything works great but the only thing I need to do eventually is shield the power wires so I don't hear the feedback (only hear it when the headlights are on, and not much at all unless you really listen for it). I picked up the "plug & play" harness from euro-parts.us and it literally took 30 min to get everything up & running from start to finish. I had some generic DVD player laying around so I just used that. Works great and the sound & picture is perfect. Here are some pics I took earlier today.

Some pics of how it looks in the car. I put the remote sensor down on the lower part of the dash where my right knee is, so it's out of the way and not that visable but still in view for the remote very easily. You can kind of see in the pic 2nd from the bottom.

First movie is playing at 2.35:1 aspect ratio, so you see the black bars. The other movie is a 1.85:1 aspect ratio, true 16:9 movie and it fills the screen perfectly. When I was watching the UFC 58 I burned onto a DVD, it was in 4:3 and it stretched the picture. Not the best looking but still alright to watch.

Very nice
So that wiring harness came with a switch and everything? Were you able to order a harness that already included the 1417 and 1280 together? Or did you purchase them separately and put it together yourself?
I have a Blaupunkt ME3 player that I've been meaning to install, I just haven't come across the right review to figure out how to do it without headache.
TIA!
