Dealer called and said they just got a black avant this past weekend with most of the options I wanted. Since it's too late to order an 06 and too early for 07s, I'm probably going to take it, eventhough black's not the color I want the most. I'd like a grey/white/silver one, but hopefully I won't regret getting a black one.

Heading over to the dealer in a few hours, wish me luck!

What's that all about? I'm about to order an Avant as well; can't locate one anywhere near what I'm looking for. Yesterday the dealer told me 90 days out, which is no problem, but are they clueless?

Also, what's reasonable to expect in terms of pricing on a special order?

I really wanted red (out voted since my wife's Avant is red) or white (couldn't find any). The only 6-sp Avant I could find with the options I wanted and none of the ones I didn't was black on black.

I wouldn't say that I regret the color choice, but I certainly wouldn't get another black car.

On the plus side, for the few minutes that it's clean and scratch/ding free, nothing looks better.

last day was 3/29. And it's too early to put in an order for an 07 in the system. Maybe your dealer hasn't tried doing that on the computer yet, but once they do, they'll find out.

If they try to bait and switch me that I didn't make the service because MY 07 cars wont have em, all of hell will break loose.

I got the invoice too saying 2006, so I should be okay...

I don't think my order was placed until the 3rd/4th...
