I wanna drive this car off a bridge!!!!
I am having the worst vibration problem ever. It all started about 5 months ago. The steering wheel vibrates at around 60 mph which it NEVER did before that. AUDI says my wheels are bent which they are a LITTLE bit. So once they told me that i had the two front wheels straightened at the wheel shop and i've had all the wheels balanced about 65 times (exageration). The guys at all the shops i went to said they aren't even bent bad enough to cause a problem like this. You can't even tell they're bent unless they're spinning. Anyhow, like i said, the 2fronts are now straightened and it is still vibrating. i had an alignment done, they said all the front end components are fine. What the hell is going on!?!? I spent so much money modding this car and of course right around the time i added my final mod, this problem arose and still haunts me to this day.
Yes, i had them road forced about 10 times; and yes, they did it the right way. Oh, i forgot to mention, i even spent another $1000 on new tires!!!!!!!!

Are the wheels "hub centric" or "lug centered". If not hub centric you may have a slight off set on the mounting of the wheels which you cannot see. If they are lug centered I would get centering rings . Also how good is your rack mount bushings. You may want to look here. The last thing I can think of was what was the mod that was done where this problem started to happen. Go back to that and see if it caused the problem.

Yes they are hub centric. Excellent Makav3li. The required rings were supplied with the rims from tire rack. There is no movement of the wheel with respect to the hub. They fit perfectly.

OK I guess you need to take a step backwards. Do you still have the old stock wheels and tires. If so then I would suggest you put them on and see if you still have the problem. If not have you had the wheels and tires balanced ON the car? If not that may be your solution. If you see run out on the wheels when they are on the balance machine even though they 0 out they will still affect the steering if there is minor play in any of the front end . Another question , is the off set the same as stock? Still fishing here so keep on trying to find the problem.

Might not be the case here, but there were some C5s that had issues with the driveshafts being out of balance and causing vibration. Just figured I would throw that in to the mix... LOL
