I am soooooo sorry baby!!!!
So, I was driving home and a racoon decided to roam the highway. I swerved and hit the guard rail. Next time, I'm running the fu**er over. Any words of advice when dealing with insurance? How long do you think it will take to fix? It's hard to tell from the pictures, but poth passenger side rims are all scratched up. What should I do to ensure they are replaced?

There is a slight chip in the xenon headlight. You think they will replace it?

I'll never forget...
In 1991 or so when I was an eager young undergrad...one night I finally had some alone time with this girl I liked -- I think she was named Kristen. Anyway long story short (and I just cut a whole paragraph, haha) I was driving her home from a party and I hit a possum. Solidly hit it, dead on, could see the suprised look on it's face in the headlights. To this day I still recall how suprised I was at how solid it felt under the wheels...like running over a brick or a chunk of concrete...I didn't give it a second thought: dead possum was better than me and some chick in a ditch.
Anyway there was no damage to the car (86 Honda Accord) but she was all upset about it, and well that was the end of my night pretty much. Hehe.

oh man, flesh is always easier than a guard rail.
since you are paying the deductable, everything will get covered without contest. it has to be put back to the way it was before the accident. so just list everything that needs to get replaced. I see you without the car for about 3 weeks. Always tack on a week to resolve issues after the job is completed the first time. And yes it will look great when it's done because the holes are patched, but look close for fish eyes, dust in the clear and things of that nature. Granted it's not factory so it won't be perfect, but as long as you are willing to put up with not having the car, you can get it as close to perfect as possible.
