Default Wheelbase off by .25". Any frame pros out there?

I've hit a curb about 45 mph and jacked up my front left side. Had it repaired by an Audi certified shop. They used a celette bench, but the front driver's wheel looked cocked. I ended up measuring rim to rim, axle nut to axle nut, and even the space between the hub; it was consistently off by a quarter inch compared to the right side. I've been under the car and the subframe lines up with the unibody and the motor mount brackets. Rear subframe is copacetic and it really has no movement anyway. Did I get screwed? I'm wondering if this is normal? Has anyone measured their B7's wheel bases? Thanks

I've included a couple of pics. At first glance you'll miss it, but the tape doesn't lie. It's driving mad.

Driver's side, notice wheel gap.

I'm thinking just inserting these and realigning the subframe as much as I can possible. Would I have to support the engine AND the tranny?
