Gas\Fueling Issue and Fuel Pressure VAG Code
For the past 2 months, I've had a problem filling my gas tank at multiple Shell gas stations. Every time I go to fill my gas, the pump keeps stopping intermittently and I have to remove the gas pump, insert it back in and start it back up. This cycle probably occurs 5-8 times each fill up, but it does eventually fill up.
I also have a check engine light and the fault code is related to fuel pressure. Here is the VAG fault reported:
1 Fault Found:
000665 - Boost Pressure Regulation: Control Range Not Reached
P0299 - 002 - Lower Limit Exceeded - Intermittent - MIL ON
Freeze Frame:
Fault Status: 10100010
Fault Priority: 0
Fault Frequency: 8
Mileage: 130610 km
Time Indication: 0
Freeze Frame:
RPM: 2529 /min
Load: 81.9 %
Speed: 119.0 km/h
Temperature: 84.0∞C
Temperature: 33.0∞C
Absolute Pres.: 990.0 mbar
Voltage: 13.335 V
FYI, I had the fuel pump replaced recently. The problem went away for a short while and then started occurring again. Any ideas? Any pointers will help! FYI, I don't know much about cars at all.
Thanks!!!

Hopefully they replaced the cam follower when they did the fuel pump, its located right under the fuel pump and if it wears out you get fuel pressure problems. I'd look into changing that first, and the gas thing, there are a couple threads out there floating around about this but i can't seem to find them at the moment. I'd do a search here and at audizine.com and see if u can't find anything.
