experience with B7A4 2.0T on long road trips?
I'm thinking about taking a trip from Pennsylvania to Austin, TX to visit some friends and I would love to drive down there rather than fly. I think its about a 20 hour drive and I would like to do the drive straight through (taking turns with 2 other guys).
My question is regarding everyones experience with long road trips on the 2.0T. I've heard stories about other turbo cars overheating and getting ruined due to long trips - however, I haven't heard anything about this car.
Anyone have experience on similar - or longer - road trips?
My car is completely stock right now and has been completely problem free to date...
TIA for sharing!

12 states, 5500 miles in 1 month and not a single problem

Made another trip to Austin last month and no problems again. I love this car on the road. Ran with the roof box on both times and still got 30mpg.

Yeah, that's a new one to me too. Unless you are driving the whole trip on
full boost or something.
I put 113k on my APR'd B5 in the 7 years I owned it, and much of that was multiple 1400 mile road trips w/ nary a turbo issue.
Can't wait to take my first trip in this car.
